About Us

Pleasant Hills Roller Hockey League (PHRHL) is a roller hockey organization located in Pleasant Hills, PA. PHRHL begin in the summer of 1995 and was organized by a group of local parents who wanted an additional option for hockey for their children that was local, affordable, and emphasized fun. After a lot of hard work, the Route 51 borough park transformed into the Pleasant Hills Roller Hockey Court and players and their families have been making roller hockey memories ever since!

The league has several divisions for ages 4-18. The teams play on an outdoor sports court rink and play in a 4 on 4 style to give everyone ample playing time. PHRHL is a recreational league that strives to ensure every player has fun and learns a few things along the way!

Players are permitted to register with one buddy and teams are built using a face down draft. Goalies also have the opportunity to identify as a "goalie only" if they prefer.

Each team will have an average of 10players and be assigned a coach and assistant coach. Following several weeks of practices, teams participate in 10 games and a fun playoff weekend.

PHRHL Summer Season Information

Pleasant Hills Roller Hockey League (PHRHL) Summer 2025 Season Information:

The Learn to Play Division is for new skaters and those players without prior experience ages 4-8 years old and the divisions (Mites, Bantams, Juniors) are for those players in grades entering K through entering 12th.

The season runs from the week of May 4, 2025 to the week of July 20th, 2025, with the playoff picnic scheduled for Saturday, July 26th, 2025 (rain date Sunday, July 27th, 2025).

The league will run with either 2 or 3 divisions (Mites, Bantams, and Juniors) depending on the number of players registered. Practices and games will be played at the PHRHL League Court (Route 51 Park, Pleasant Hills, PA 15236) and are slotted for 6:00pm, 7:00pm, and 8:00pm. Tentatively, the Mites will play on Monday evenings, Learn to Play will play on Tuesday evenings, Bantams will play on Wednesday evenings, and Juniors will play on Thursday evenings. Divisions will be determined at the close of registration.

All players will have 2 practices, 10 games, at least one playoff game, and end of season gift. Learn to Play participants and the first place team in each division will also earn a PHRHL medal.

The fee schedule is as follows:

Learn to Play $100

All Divisions Early Bird Rate 1/20/2025 - 2/17/2025 - $100

All Divisions Season Rate 2/18/2025 -4/11/2025 - $120

All Divisions Late Registration 4/12/2025- 4/25/2025 - $135

*Coaches receive a $5.00 discount on each of their children registered.

*Families with 2+ children registered - The first child registered is full price, then each additional child registered receives a $5.00 discount.

*Each player is permitted to register with "one buddy." Siblings are not automatically placed on the same team. If a player would like to register with a sibling, each player must select their sibling as their buddy choice. If a player decides to register with a "buddy," they must indicate that player's name and the player they select must also select them back on their registration form. Therefore, each set of buddies registering together must have one another selected as their buddy, otherwise the buddy registration will not be honored.
